She was predeceased by: her husband Jack VanTil; her parents, Harold Sterling and Margaret Sterling (Peg); and her sister Barbara Parrett. She is survived by: her children, Jack, Diane VanTil, Jill and Jesse Hecksel; her grandchildren, Bryan VanTil, James and Destiny Hecksel; and her great grandchild Kai Hecksel.
