In the sacred silence of farewell, Margaret is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Margaret's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Finnie and Alison Finnie. She is survived by: her children, Kristen Steinbrecher (Jake), Sydney Semlow (Matthew Franklin) and Alec Semlow (Gee); her grandchildren, Liam Steinbrecher and Anaya Semlow; and her siblings, John Finnie, Alison Reitman (Joe), Linda Belisle (Steve) and Janice Chartier (Dave). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Fuenral Home (3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
