He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanette Sampson; and his sister Ruth Ann Sampson. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Sampson (Joyce), Scott Sampson and Dave Sampson (Barbara); his grandchildren, Chad, Jessica Balder (James), Daniel, Bryan (Megan), Andy, Chelsea Russell (John), Courtney Finlayson (Zach) and McKenna; and his siblings, Betty Sampson, Robert Sampson (Sally), Earl Sampson, Dorothy Sampson, Sylvia Coffey (Rob) and Lynn Sampson (Janis). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
