He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Tietz and Janet Tietz; his aunt Marion Dowling; and his cousin Gene Dowling. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Kim Edwards (Tom), Mike Tietz and Kelly Van Eerden (Scott); his grandchildren, Jessica Smith (Riley), Katherine Edwards (Paulo Quiros), Jaquez Edwards, Julia Tietz, Anna Beach, Megan Van Eerden and Cody Van Eerden; his great grandchildren, Jordyn Smith and Christopher Smith; and his sister-in-law Nancy Stanley.
