He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Marie Meindertsma; his parents, John Meindertsma and Catherine Meindertsma; his brothers, Larry Meindertsma (Audrey) and Richard Meindertsma (Phyllis); his grandson Owen Senior; his sister-in-law Linda Deising; and his nephew Raymond Bardwell.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Meindertsma-Fox, Kelly Bradburn (Andy), Jill Senior (John) and Bobbie Jo Hudson (Scott); his grandchildren, Devon (Nykalas), Dakota (Breanna), Colton, Kennedy, Rhett, Race and Noel; his great grandchildren, Francisco, Santiago and Atticus; and his close friend Michael Zant. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
