He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dolores "Dee" Howe; his daughter Holly Hawkins (Lewie Rasho); his daughter-in-law Lynn Swart; his grandchildren, Matthew Hawkins (Erica), Stacy Swart, Benjamin Hawkins (Jody), Joel Rasho, Leslie Cnossen, Alan Swart (Christina), Kelly Rasho, Richard Koert and Lindsey Phelps (Simon); his sons, David Swart and Steven Swart; and his parents, John Swart and Jenny Swart. He was also cherished by his siblings and Dolores' parents and siblings.
