He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold VanSlooten and Clarice VanSlooten (Harkes); his siblings, Patricia Johnson (Larry) of Kentwood and Philip VanSlooten (Trudy) of Burr Ridge, IL.; his friend Jim Morren; his wife Sue Ann VanSlooten (DeGood); and his daughters, Alison VanderHeide (Keith) of Middleville and Charise Bos (Jim) of Byron Center.
