He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Weitzel and Pauline Weitzel (Burdick). He is survived by: his children, Scott (Missy Weitzel) and Becky (Ellie Simpson); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Genevieve, Chance and Aidyn; and his close friend Colleen Weatherbee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
