He was predeceased by: his mother Kathy Toles (Bill); and his grandson Jared Gossage. He is survived by: his father Franklin Middleton (Martha); his wife Susan VanTuinen-Middleton; his son Curt Oostveen; his stepchildren, Dannette Gossage (Joseph Sturm), Paula Lafontsee and Dennis Gossage (Susan Zink); his sister Desiree Schuttie; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Samantha. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
