With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Blaine Strauss in Wyoming, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strauss and Rose Strauss; his in-laws, Kenneth and Lillien Hudson; his brother-in-law Jim VanZalen; his son-in-law James Wood; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Strauss.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Strauss; his children, Ronald Strauss (Vivian) and Sharon Wood; his siblings, Gordon Strauss and Virginia VanZalen; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Wood, Kevin Wood, Carriann Sillman, Kimberly Remtema and Mark Strauss.
