He is survived by: his children, Rachaele Harding, Rebecca Smit, Robert and Lindsey Smit; his grandchildren, Kaelyn, Blake, Teagan, Elzora, Rozalyn and Lorelei; and his sisters, Beth (Brian Doxtator) and Cynthia (Stephan Gero). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
