Roger TeGrootenhuis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger TeGrootenhuis in Wyoming, Michigan, who passed away on May 8, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; his close friend Gloria Gerrits; his parent Christian TeGrootenhuis (Angeline); his siblings, William TeGrootenhuis, Marie Bosman, Agnes Martineau, Morris TeGrootenhuis, Bertha Van Huekelom, Lucille and David TeGrootenhuis; his father-in-law Lloyd Hockenson (Lola); and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine Seydel, Leroy Hockenson and Lyle Hockenson.

He is survived by: his children, Brian TeGrootenhuis (Angie), Bonnie Vandermissen (Scott), Beverly Watson (Mark), Blenda TeGrootenhuis and Nichole Johnson; his grandchildren, Noah (Jennie), Ian (Casey), Stephanie (Josh), Rachael, Jonathan, Zachary, Nichole and Marianne; his great grandchildren, James and Zelie; his siblings, Arlene Bailey, Onetta Siegersma, Olive Terpstra, Russell TeGrootenhuis and Maleeta Yonker; his sister-in-law Linda Gossel; and his close friend Shirley Marks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
