He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thompson and Josephine Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Janet "Jan" Thompson (Bowhuis); his children, Marc, Rebecca Thompson, Maribeth and Mike Vlasman; his grandchildren, Paiton Thompson, Blake Thompson, Madeline Vlasman and Mitchell Vlasman; his sister Gladys Baker of Oregon; and his sisters-in-law, Maryellen Thompson, Bonnie Banghart (Denny) of Kalamazoo and Cindy Burri (Jim). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several dear friends.
