She was predeceased by: her parents, James Porter and Hazel Porter; her siblings, Frank Porter and Sally Hough; and her sister-in-law Sue Porter.
She is survived by: her sons, Hans Tait, Sean Tait and Bob Karel (Amy); her grandchildren, Rebecca and Jordan Karel (MacKenzie); her brother Albert Porter; her nephew Paul; and her nieces, Sue Hoogerhyde, Kathy Butcher and Christie Weaver.
