He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schott and Phyllis Bartley (Gardner); and his brother Patrick Schott. He is survived by: his spouse Cynthea Baird; his children, Deanna Schott, Michael Schott Jr. (Kristina), Jennifer Schultz (Kevin), Jason Schott (Jessica Rock), Jeremy Schott (Kayla), David Schott (Sheila Williams), Douglas Schott (Amanda) and Melanie Buchheister (Brian); his siblings, Lillian Pung (Larry), Susan Blackmer, Glenda Brown (Willie), Frank Schott (Denise), Richard Schott and Christopher Schott (Barbara); and his brother-in-law Michael Blackmer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carman Funeral Home (4347 Main St, Brown City, MI 48416). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Carman Funeral Home (4347 Main St, Brown City, MI 48416).
