He was predeceased by: his parents, David Whitmer and Marilyn Whitmer. He is survived by: his wife Janet Gustin; his children, Jennie Whitmer, David Whitmer, Luke Whitmer, Connie Keller (David), T. J. Wilson (Colette), Cheryl Jagodzinski, Joshua Wilson, Ricky Whitmer, Isiah Whitmer, Karia Whitmer, Raymond Arneil, Jesse DuCharme (Teresa), Rachel Uhlich (Stephen) and Jacob DuCharme; his grandchildren, Austin, Destiny, David II, Delanie, Faith, Taylor and Ella; his great grandchildren, Devin, Azzlynn, Paisley, Josie, Rowan and Autumn; and his brothers, William Whitmer Sr. (Beverly) and James Whitmer (Salvador). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
