She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sr. Adams and Ruth Adams; and her husband Edward Schaewe. She is survived by: her children, Paul (Kelley), Peter, Philip (Tracy), Matthew (Heather) and Jennifer Antone (Nicholas); her grandchildren, Caleb (Miriam), Isaac, Elizabeth, Zachary, Miranda, Noah, Olivia, Benjamin, Nathanael, Nicholas and Skylar; her stepgrandchildren, Paige and Brendan Hoffmaster (Megan); her great grandchild Titus; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lincoln and Parker; and her siblings, Joan Perron and Robert Jr. Adams (Glenda). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

The family wishes that memorials be made to Emanual Redeemer Lutheran Church or to Michigan Lutheran Seminary.
