He was predeceased by: his parents, Pirie Silverthorn and Audrey Silverthorn (Cockrel); his son Rodney; and his sisters, Audrey Ramage and Marjorie Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah Jean Maury; his sons, Roger (Susan) of Saginaw, Richard (Bobbi) of Yale, Randy (Corrie) of Kentucky and Ronald Silverthorn (Martha) of Florida; and his siblings, Marvin Silverthorn of Yale, Mary Teets of Lenior City, Tennesse, Charles Silverthorn of Lapeer and Martha Gullat (Don) of Yale. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Missionary Church, Yale.
