Alma Washington Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Washington (Ypsilanti, Michigan), who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Alma Washington to show support.
As we bid Alma farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alma is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations, in her name, for the African American Cultural and Historical Museum of Washtenaw County (AACHM) (aachm.org/donate) (https://www.aachm.org).
