With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Mekia Edimo of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Andrew Mekia departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Andrew Mekia may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Andrew Mekia leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mekia Macaulay Edimo and Agnes Elong Kingue. He is survived by: his wife Ma Eli Edimo; and his son Arnold Oben.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A wake will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Skyline Hotel (31500 Wick Rd, Romulus, MI 48174). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (1432 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104).
