He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe "Monty" B. Farquharson and Betty Exline (Sutton); his wife Janice M. Farquharson; his son Douglas F. Farquharson; his granddaughter Devon M. Stevens; his half-sister Erlene Vinzant-Gunn; and his sisters-in-law, Valerie M. Harden and Arlene M. Harden Johnson (Frank).
He is survived by: his children, Marilynn M. Stevens of Ypsilanti, MI, Ronald J. Farquharson of Livonia, MI and Dawn M. Davis of Chapel Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Michael J. Farquharson, Janice J. Stevens (Justin), Eric D. Farquharson (Trish), Steven C. Hute, Jr. (Jessica), Nathan J. Hute, Charles Jacob Davis (Margaret), Andrew J. Farquharson and Emma R. Wingfield (Tony); his great grandchildren, Branden R. Stevens, Sydnee Farquharson, Alexis M. Farquharson, Colin F. Farquharson, Jackson G. Hute, James D. Farquharson, Bridgette O. Moore, Okley B. Hute, Odin B. Wood, Charlee M. Wood and Quinn C. Davis; and his great great grandchild Jameson D. Stevens.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran (201 N River St, Ypsilanti, MI 48198).
