George L. Throne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George L. Throne of Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George L. Throne to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Throne and Martha Throne (Ames); his wife Phyllis Ann Throne (Ault); his siblings, Orval Throne, Berniece Moxley, Rex Throne, Leo Throne, Geneva Thomas, Harland Throne and Paul Throne; his son-in-law Timothy Putman; his great grandchild Adilynn Gray; and also Unabelle Throne.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Throne, Marilyn Throne Putman and Michael Throne (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Michael Putman, Georgina Kinser (Aiden), Daniel Throne, Jonathan Throne and Sarah Throne; his great grandchildren, Grayson Kinser and Aria Kinser; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Throne and Helen Read. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stony Creek United Methodist Church in Ypsilanti or Heartland Hospice.
