He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Perks and Helen Perks (Byrne); and his siblings, Robert Perks (Shirley), Edward Perks, Norene Adams (Robert) and Thomas Perks (Susan).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Perks; and his daughter Catherine "Cathy" Goodman (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Marne, Michigan (15164 Juniper Dr, Marne, MI 49435). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery of Marne, Michigan (15164 Juniper Dr, Marne, MI 49435).
Memorial donations in Jim's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
