She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Cummings and Ella Cummings (Hager); her husband Earl Cox; her son Hugh Stewart; her grandson Corey Stewart; her great grandchild Larissa Ann Stewart; and her siblings, Lloyd Cummings, Betty Adkins and Nancy Napier.
She is survived by: her children, Devonna Jones (Bob Vidito) of Pinckney, Berri Wolff of Ann Arbor, Karen Vineyard (Ron) of Winston-Salem, NC, Valerie Strozeski of Howell, James Stewart of Ypsilanti and Mark Stewart of Newberry, MI. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren with one on the way; two great-great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stark Funeral Home (101 S Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
