With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph John Wizauer (Ypsilanti, Michigan), born in Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on August 21, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenzel Wizauer and Theresa Wizauer; his wife Ruth Charlotte Hyzer; and his siblings, Betty, Theresa, Dutch, John, Elsie, Mary and Tony.
He is survived by: his children, Julianne Arcuri (Dean) and Eric Wizauer (Anne); his grandchildren, Lauren Arcuri, Carson Arcuri, Benjamin Wizauer, Elise Wizauer, Marissa Matthews (Josh), Sarah Belcher and Adam Belcher; his great grandchildren, Audrey and Dylan Matthews; his sister Anna Hartweg; and his sister-in-law Meryl Engelhardt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
