It is with sadness that the passing of Larry Thiede Sr. (Ypsilanti, Michigan) is shared. Larry, born on March 20, 1951, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thiede and Maxine Thiede; and his brother Jack Thiede. He is survived by: his wife Laura of John's Catholic Church; his children, Tonia Canzoneri (Joe), Larry Thiede Jr. (Dustina) and Michael Thiede (Malinda); and his grandson Ryan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Janowiak Chapel (320 N Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
