He is survived by: his wife Genoveva Castro; his daughter Mary Perez (Armando); his grandchildren, Christina, April, Miguel and Veronica; and his siblings, Maria Conception Gutierrez, Elvira Treviño and Claudio Castro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
