She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lee and Lillie Lou Jefferson (Hunter); her siblings, Harold, Vivian (Lynn), Louis and Gary; her son James Ethington, Jr.; and her nephew Geoffrey Lynn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Jefferson and Terry Jefferson; her sons, Darryl Ethington (Melissa) and Daiego Yargee; and her grandchildren, Jasmine, James, Jitter, Christian, Bailye and Daiego Jefferson-Yargee Jr..
