He is survived by: his wife Jodi Shingledecker (Farley); his children, Lavonne Lynn Collins (Mike) and Michael Shane Shingledecker (Sumaia Stowers-Shingledecker); his stepchildren, Lora Kluczynski (Brad) and Lynn Ann Viergever; his grandchildren, Jordan Lynn Kaufman (Chris), Scott Shingledecker (Jordan Guthrie) and Michael Seth Shingledecker (Merushe Methasani); his stepgrandchildren, David Cramier, Mandi Wilson (Ryan), Alexander Neal Hart, Aiden Matthew Hart and Arrick Thomas Hart; his great grandchildren, Devin Brian Cramier and Abel Wilson; and his brothers, Richard Alan Shingledecker and Raymond Scott Shingledecker (Delores).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (201 N River St, Ypsilanti, MI 48198). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Highland Cemetery (943 N River St, Ypsilanti, MI 48198).
