He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Marie Schneider (Hinkle) and Nicholas William Schneider, Sr.; his wife Shirley Marie Schneider (Spires); his son Bruce Gordon Schneider Sr.; his grandson Bruce Gordon Schneider, Jr.; and his brothers, Frederick Thomas Schneider, Sr. and Richard Henry Schneider, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Linda Hodges (Arkie) of Brandon, Nicholas Schneider, III (Vicki) of Ypsilanti, MI and Edward Schneider, Sr. (Brenda) of Belleville, MI; his grandchildren, Jennifer VanMeter (Robert), Wendi Bleicher, Tony Bleicher, Sarah Jeter, Nicholas Schneider IV (Katie), Edward Schneider, Jr. (Tracy), Brian Schneider (Michelle) and Nikole Schneider; his granddaughter-in-law Kim Schneider; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Schneider and Sharon Schneider. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (120 N Huron St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197).
