He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinton McAtee and Frances McAtee (Hartman); his brothers, Harlow, Norman and George McAtee; and his brother-in-law David Claxton.
He is survived by: his sister Ruth Claxton of Ypsilanti, MI; his sister-in-law Cathie McAtee (Norman); his great-nieces, Meghan and Eleanor Kindred; his great-nephew Samuel Kindred; his friend Randy Gilleland; and also, Carla Pike and Christine Kindred (Christopher).
