With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robin Shrum (Ypsilanti, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Louise Tyler; her sister Joyce Rhodes; and her brother-in-law Church Blanton. She is survived by: her father Ernest Tyler; her husband Dale Shrum; her siblings, Janet Blanton, David Tyler (Karen) and Mark Tyler (Julia); her sons, Christopher "Levi" Bentley (Andrea), Jeremy Bentley (Lisa) and Ernest Bentley (Bethany); her grandchildren, Nycole, Ashlie, Zack, Emma, Evan and Avery; and her great grandchildren, James and Hope. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Janowiak Chapel (320 N Washington St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
