She was predeceased by : her parents, George Dozier and Eva Dozier; her husband Benjamin Cartwright; and her children, Delores Dogan and Anthony Cartwright.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Bishop-O'Banner and Monica Fletcher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the C & H Community Home For Funerals Lucille's Memorial Chapel (411 S Adams St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197).
