We are sad to announce that, on October 16, 2025, at the age of 79, Steven Helmuth of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Steven departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Steven leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Hendrix (Chapin); his uncle Jack; and his parent Thomas Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Helmuth; his sons, Cameron and Landon Helmuth (Margaret); his grandchildren, Bethany, Kepler, Griffin, William and Charlotte; and his siblings, Marcia Farrell, William Hendrix and Jeffery Hendrix (Nancy). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
