He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Chad, Elaine McDonald, Chris and Sarah Hayes; his grandchildren, Emma, Sawyer, Olivia Hayes, Peter, Caleb, Lucas and Julia McDonald; and his siblings, Carole Hoyt, Allan McDonald and Cindy McDonald.
