He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Wissink; his son Curt (Kelly Wissink); his grandchildren, Rebekah, Ryan Claveau, Bethany, Alec Duzan and Caleb Wissink; his brother Rick (Sally Wissink); his sisters-in-law, Karen Wissink and Shirley Wissink; and his in-laws, Cheryl, Dar Lefers, Ruth, Alden Jelsma, Lillian Huisingh, Sally Kooi, Lois, Ken Weenum, Ben and Karen Gras. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.

Memorial contributions in Carl's honor may be given to First Reformed Church of Zeeland.
