He was predeceased by: his son Kevin. He is survived by: his wife Caroline; his children, Jack, Phyllis Machiela, Pamela, Anton Sheridan, Daniel Machiela and Denise Eskew; his siblings, Pauline Dyke, Lorraine Wierenga, Marilyn Wassink, Roger and Helene Machiela; and his siblings-in-law, Harriet, Harv Berens, Dorothy Wetherbee, Alma Vereeke, David, Marilyn Vereeke, Paul, Alice Vereeke, Arlene Westveld, John and Gretchen Vereeke. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren.
