We announce the death of Daniel Buchan of Zeeland, Michigan, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 41. Daniel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Linda Huizen of Zeeland and Susan Buchan of Traverse City; his siblings, Sam Buchan (Sara) and Jennifer; his brother-in-law Pete St. John; his stepsiblings, Ryan and Rachel; his grandmother Shirley Wehr; his aunts and uncles, Gary, Bonnie Huizen, Michael Tremain, Tim Buchan and Dixie Tremont; his friends, Geoff, Tom, Chris and David; and his grandfather Gerald Huizen.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Homewood.
In honor of Dan's memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of Holland, an organization that provided comfort and support in his final days.
