He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gillett and Imogene Gillett (Evart); his wife Patricia (Zeeland); his daughters, Pamela Gillett and Denise Gillett Ludwig; and his siblings, Dorothy Witbeck, Helen Swanson, Bill Gillett, Ruth Harkert, Jim Gillett, Joanne Bowman and Louise Lantz.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Gillett of Zeeland and Beth Krygier (Joel); his son-in-law John Ludwig (Jill) of Frankfort, IL.; his grandchildren, Joshua Gillett (Lydia) of Zeeland, Stephanie Gillett of Zeeland, Neil Ludwig (Samantha) of St. Charles, IL, Alicia Ludwig, Samuel Krygier (Michele) of Kalamazoo, Abigail Burris (Zane) of Lawton, Isabelle, Isaac and Eli Gillett of Belmont, MI; his stepgrandchildren, Eric of Dallas, TX, Andrew of Dallas, TX and Audrey Studer (Chicago); and his great grandchildren, Beckett, Jayden, Elliana, Josie, Paisley, Skyla, Kinsley, Jackson, Braelyn, Tatum and Haven. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
