He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Nellie, Chet Westrate, Simon, Joan Essenburg, Kenneth and Helen VanDerKooi.
He is survived by: his parents, Mitchell Essenburg and Jamie Essenburg; his sisters, Jayden and Madison; his great-grandparents, Arend and Janet Buitenhuis; his grandparents, Randy, Roxanne Essenburg and Hilda Westrate; his aunts and uncles, Katie, Kevin, Travis, Stephanie, Cody, Laura and Sam; and his cousins, Janelle, Corbin and Hailey.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be finalizing ways for interested parties to make donations in Deacon's honor; those details will be forthcoming.
