He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Klompenberg and Clara Van Klompenberg; his parents-in-law, Jerald and Jeanne Streur; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Kopp and Michelle Hop.
He is survived by: his wife Cherie; his children, Leslie Van Houten (Scott), Brad Van Klompenberg (Jen Fata) and Rick Van Klompenberg (Holly); his grandchildren, Kylie Watson (Dylan), Nick Van Houten, Dylan Van Klompenberg (Emily), Mitchel Van Klompenberg (Sophia McDonald), Clara of Alivia, RJ and Natalia Van Klompenberg; his great grandchild Eleanor; his siblings, Wanda Van Klompenberg, Sherwin Van Klompenberg (Donna), Darlys Recker (Don), Roselyn Busscher (Jim) and Dwayne Van Klompenberg (Linda); and his sister-in-law Valarie Kopp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
