With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay Van Daalen of Zeeland, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jay left this world on December 11, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Daalen and Nelle Van Daalen; his sister Nancy (Stuart Cok); and his children, Jeffrey Van Daalen and Julie Van Daalen.
He is survived by: his wife Adelle; his children, James M Van Daalen, MD, Kim Greenwalt of Louisville, Jane Janicki and Jackie Van Daalen; his stepchildren, Shannon Blauwkamp, Darla Morgan, Paige and John Weenum; his sister Judy (Frank Beltman); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Bronson, Lori, Joe Marroquin and Larry Weenum.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Open House.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bethany Christian Services (Holland) and Wings of Mercy (Zeeland).
