It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Marie Schipper of Zeeland, Michigan, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Green (Frank) and Ray Simmons; her husband Karl Schipper; and her sister Sheryl. She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond Simmons (Sandi), Carol Simmons-Hirth (Dan) and Cathy Potter (Randy); her children, Matt Holmes (Jen), Heather Siegers (Brad) and Ross Schipper (Amanda); and her grandchildren, Ava, Will, Clayton, Tanner, Iyla, Blake, Lena, Chandler and Vivian. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In honoring Joan's compassionate spirit, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Holland, who cared so well for her.
