He was predeceased by: his parents, John VanLoo and Trina VanLoo; his siblings, Jay, Carolyn, Robert and Paul; and his brother-in-law Harley Derks.
He is survived by: his wife Judy VanLoo; his sister Ruth LePoire (Harvey); and his in-laws, Betty Derks, Jim and Hilda Derks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
