She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald L. Straight; and her daughter Teresa DeGeus. She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Day (Keith) of Zeeland, Ronda Woldring (Chuck) of Holland and Ruth Edsall (Mark) of Mission, TX; her son-in-law Mike DeGeus of Holland; her grandchildren, Ronald Day, Christopher DeGeus (Deidre), Ryan Day, Katheran Westrate (Alex), Jenny Walker (Mike), Rory Woldring, Anthony Day (Mindy) and Carly Mori (Takuya); and her sister Carolyn Nelson (Walt) of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by 16 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the First Baptist Church of Zeeland (246 W Main Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
