He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Volkers and Hazel Volkers; his siblings, Sharon, Marcia, Jay, Carol and Deb; his father-in-law Les Wiersma; and his brother-in-law Phil Wiersma.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his grandchildren, Bethany, Brian Bartman, Brandon, Megan Volkers, Josh, Sarah Wilson, Becky, Steve Sharda, Lindsay and Mitch Vander Kooi; his brother Larry (Volkers); his mother-in-law Jane Wiersma; and his in-laws, Michael Gentry, Mike, Pat Wiersma, Kurt and Jan Wiersma.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Reformed Church-Kids Hope, or Hospice of Holland.
