Lila Bouwens Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lila Bouwens of Zeeland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn; her parents, Howard Myaard and Jennie Myaard; her siblings, Howard Myaard and Ruth Walters; and her close friend Don Pyle (Bud).

She is survived by: her sons, Joel Bouwens (Marianne), John Bouwens (Holly) and Jim Bouwens (Patti); and her sister-in-law Mary Bouwens. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Words of Hope or Second Reformed Church.
