She was predeceased by: her parents, Milfred Peterson and Mary Adell Peterson (Shetenhelm); her husband Hollis Ponstein; her daughter Jody Rittenhouse; her sister-in-law Irma Mokma; and her close friend Jeanie Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Ponstein, Michelle Disselkoen, Sara Vander Molen and Tim Ponstein; her grandchildren, Dacota, Jena, Riley, Blake, Hollister and Corbin; her great grandchild Benjamin; her siblings, Edwin Peterson, Ruth McGee, Sue Schaaf, Leonard Peterson and Noreen Peterson; and her in-laws, Beth Somers, Laura Ponstein, Mary Lynn Kamara, Bill Ponstein, Tim Ponstein and Paul Ponstein.
