She is survived by: her husband Harvey Walters; her children, Ruth Paulsen (Mark) and David Van Haitsma (Julie); and her stepchildren, Barb Scothorn (David) and Brian Walters (Tammy). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
