She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob "Jack" Smith; her parents, Myron Klunder and Johanna Hoogerland; and her siblings, Marvin Klunder, Joan Hoppenrath and Gerald Klunder.
She is survived by: her children, David Smith (Annette), Debi Kurdelski (Harv), Keith Smith (Kim) and Karen Smith-Hosner (Terry Hosner); and her siblings, Ruth Biesbrock, Kathy Vos, Butch Klunder (Sandra) and Marge Haveman (Sherman). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
